This website is run by Dreamtime Getaway LLC, a locally owned business in Eugene, Oregon (“Dreamtime Getaways,” “we” or “us”). This policy covers dreamtimegetaways.com. When you book through Airbnb or a hotel booking page, that company’s own privacy policy also applies.

What we collect

• Information you give us. Your name, email, phone number and message when you use our contact or group inquiry form, email us, call us or join the Dreamtime Passport.
• Booking information. Stays are booked through Airbnb or our hotels’ booking pages. Those companies collect your payment details. We don’t see or store your full card number. We do receive the guest details we need to host your stay, such as your name, dates and number of guests.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic device and usage information, such as your browser type, general location, the pages you visit and how you got here, using cookies and similar tools.

How we use it

• To answer your questions and help you plan or book a stay
• To host your stay and keep in touch about it
• To run the Dreamtime Passport and send updates you’ve asked for
• To understand how the website is used and make it better
• To measure our ads and show them to people who may be interested
• To keep our guests, properties and website safe, and to meet legal and tax requirements

Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that help us run our business, and only as needed:

• Squarespace, which hosts this website and our forms
• Airbnb and our hotels’ booking providers, when you book
• Google (Analytics and Tag Manager) and Meta, for website analytics and ad measurement
• Our membership and email tools, if you join the Passport or our list
• Cleaning, maintenance and other service partners who need guest details to prepare for your stay
• Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect someone’s safety

Cookies + analytics

We use cookies from Squarespace, Google Analytics and the Meta pixel. They help the site work, show us which pages are useful and let us see whether our ads reach the right people. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.

To limit tracking, you can use the Google Analytics opt-out and change your Meta ad preferences.

Your choices

• You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you.
• You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link in any email, or by asking us.
• Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under your state’s privacy laws. Contact us and we’ll help.

We may need to keep some records, such as booking and tax records, when the law requires it.

Security + retention

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and we limit who can see it. No website or online service is completely secure, so we can’t promise perfect security. We keep information only as long as we need it for the reasons above or as the law requires.

Children

This website is meant for adults planning travel. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page.
